Abstract:
As one of our "Participant Talk 180s", Kassy was given three minutes (180 seconds) to turn around some of our perspectives on an idea that matters to her. Her focus was the powerful (but currently under-developed) potential for using Canada's abundant geothermal resources.
Kassy Harbottle is an engineer with many years of experience in the energy industry. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Geological Engineering, she currently is a graduate student studying for her M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Development with the University of Calgary. Kassy is passionate about the prospects of better using geothermal energy, and she is an active member of the burgeoning Canadian geothermal industry.
