Geothermal Canada Lecture Series
Geothermal Canada has pulled together a group of experts to provide a comprehensive course on geothermal development. Covering basic technical concepts to commercial and financial considerations, the course is presented as an ongoing series of one hour webinars.
Hosted by Dr. Catherine Hickson, P. Geo, a 40 year veteran of the geothermal industry, she draws from the expertise of notable geothermal experts including, but not limited to:
- Dr. Steve Grasby, Geological Survey of Canada
- Dr. Jasmin Raymond, INRS Quebec
- Dr. Maurice Dusseault, University of Waterloo
- Dr. Martyn Unsworth, University of Alberta
To date we have held over 30 of these sessions, and our vast library of valuable on-demand content continues to grow.
Building upon the success of this series over the past 2 years, Geothermal Canada will continue its online live lecture series for another year. These webinars are scheduled to take place monthly on Wednesdays at 12pm noon MST.
Attendance to these webinar lectures is free to Geothermal Canada Members. Use the button on the members page to get a free ticket.
For non-members, tickets to the next webinar can be purchased for $10 each. Become a member instead for free webinar admission.
