Recording Available: University of Illinois Low Temperature Geothermal Workshop

On Nov. 5, 2020, the Institute for Sustainability, Energy, and Environment (iSEE) in collaboration with F&S and the Illinois Water Resources Center (IWRC) held a low temperature geothermal workshop. This workshop brought together scientists, engineers, practitioners, decision makers, and stakeholders involved in low-temperature geothermal energy studies, developments, and policy-making. A group of 14 experts from U of I and national and international organizations presented on innovative research undertaken for low-temperature geothermal exchange, direct use heating and cooling, and underground thermal energy storage.

The recording of the first portion of the workshop is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TvptzDctmw&feature=youtu.be&ab_channel=UofIFS
