Croatia geothermal exploration areas, Pčelić and Kotoriba.
The Republic of Croatia has announced an international competition for the exploration of geothermal resources. Two companies engaged in the construction of geothermal power plants and the production of electricity and hydrogen in the Republic of Croatia, "ELEKTRANA ALFA” d.o.o. and "MORE ENERGIJE" d.o.o.) have applied for a tender to explore geothermal areas, with the purpose of producing energy in the Republic of Croatia.
ELEKTRANA ALFA has applied for the exploration area "Pčelić" where 70-100 MW of electricity can be generated and MORE ENERGIJE has applied for the exploration area Kotoriba", where there can be up to 40 MW of electricity generated.
These companies are looking for a partner to build a geothermal power plant to produce electricity and hydrogen in these two exploration areas.
