Project description

The Harmokale Geothermal project is a greenfield geothermal project strategically located in north central Ethiopia. The project targets fault hosted geothermal systems in the thinned crust of the Afar region. Nearby power lines, road access as well as a rapid industrial growth in the region make for a highly favourable geothermal development fairway. 4R is currently undertaking exploration activities to better understand and develop the resource.
