Hosted by the Canadian Energy Geoscience Association (CEGA), formerly CSPG.
Technical presentations will be followed by open discussions in a collaborative multi-industry environment.
Proposed Session Themes:
Going Regional - localized vs, regional mapping, new data (current bias in existing datasets), people, horizons and exploring pore space beyond the oil and gas fields
Shared Aquifer Resources - how can helium, lithium, geothermal and CCUS coexist with pore space ownership and tenure
Potential in Mature Oil and Gas Fields - CO2 in EOR schemes, lithium and geothermal potential using existing infrastructure and bypassed potential with existing datasets
Role of Government Policy to Invigorate Development - Canadian advantage vs. American competition, hubs, mini-hubs, new markets in heavy industry beyond Western Canada
Please note these session themes are subject to change and suggestions are welcome to maximize content value for delegates.
